We Are ...
Lunaris was formed by a group of mature, veteran MMORPG players. Most of the original members were all friends from the Veeshan Everquest server. Many of us have adventured together through alot of the major MMORPG games (FFXI, EQ, DAoC, AO, SWG, CoH, etc). Some of the officers in Lunaris were also officers or guild leaders in previous MMO games, and have the experience and unselfishness it takes to help shape a successful guild. We want our guild to be full of friendly, capable people. Who like having fun and enjoy to group/raid/pvp with each other.
Our overall goal as a guild is to be able to field a well balanced raid force, several days of the week (Sun-Thur), during primetime hours. Class balance, great teamwork, and open communication is they key to a successful guild.
Guild Rules...
- Always treat your fellow guildmates with respect. Flaming of a fellow guildmember in a non-joking manner will not be tolerated.
- No griefing of other players. Do not taunt, spam or kill steal from other players in the game. We are a honorable guild, and your actions reflect our guild and its reputation. Think..... before you act. If another group or guild is working its way towards a particular camp and were there before your group. Let them have the camp or kill the boss first. Better yet, work with them. Chances are they will help you after they are done. DO NOT run past another group who is clearing a path and go kill a named/boss before they can tag it.
- No whining or being greedy. We want only unselfish people in this guild. If your M.O. is all about stocking yourself with phat loot this isn't the guild for you. We share and help each other get the most powerful equipment we can. We want everyone to be balanced, this will help the guild be more powerful during raids as a whole. When loot is awarded during raids or in groups and you didn't get something you thought you deserved, send a tell to an officer or the person who was handling the loot distribution. DO NOT yell out in guildsay or raidchat that this is BS I should have got that!
- Raiding every night is not mandatory but you are expected to be available on raiding nights, with no recurring real life responsibilites (job, school, etc) preventing you from attending. Raid invites start at 6:55 unless announced otherwise. If you are online and called upon to join us on a raid (whether it's because were short on raiders that day or need a certain class), I'd expect that you would be willing to help us until the raid is finished or another player logs on to replace you. Members should help us on raids if needed because they want to, not because they're being forced to. If you are asked to help and refuse to without a good reason, it's probably in everyone's best interest that you find another guild.
- You need to remain active. If a member goes more then 30 days without playing substantially, and doesn't let us know why they haven't been able to play, they will be marked as inactive. It's possible for a person who has been marked as inactive to be removed after a period of time, as well as someone who was removed for inactivity to be reinvited without having to re-apply. This is considered on a case by case basis and usually will only happen if the said person returns to playing full time shortly after they were removed. If you miss more than 10 consecutive raiding days without notifying the guild of your inability to play or providing any update on when you will be able to return, you may be temporarily flagged as Inactive for the purpose of understanding the size and strength of our current raiding force. Members returning from Inactive status may be subject to review if they intend to return to raiding status.
- Use common sense. Most of the things I listed above are just plain common sense, things that everyone should already know. Im not going to make 100 rules.... you guys know how to act. And if you don't chances are you will not remain in the guild for long.
- Last but not least is HAVE FUN! Lunaris is a guild for the people. If you have any suggestions about how to make the guild better feel free to bring it up. Officers are not your bosses... they are just there to keep general order and help keep things running smoothly. Do not be afraid to ever speak your mind as long as it doesn't involve flaming or insulting someone.
Note: This Charter is subject to change at any time as needed.
